To all those who died
because of me,
I’m sorry for not
being able to save any of you. I can’t imagine the amount of you who lost your
lives because I didn’t see that something was wrong sooner. You didn’t deserve
to die – heck, no one really does – but you especially.
I get doing the things
that you think are right, no matter how hard it may be or what others think of
you. It sucks, and I can’t imagine having to die for it. Not when you’re just
trying to make peoples’ lives better.
I hope, in time, I’ll
be forgiven for not saving more of you. I just hope that you know that your
deaths weren’t completely wasted – you gave someone life. Having no choice in
the matter makes it different, but still...I think that that knowledge would
make death a little less bitter for me.
